"Goodwill" Hunting

I bought these picture frames a while ago and they have just been sitting there without any pictures. I debated on what to put in them, but since they were in the guest room, I didn't think my guests would want to see cheesy (literally. HELLO bathing suit!) vacay shots of me and Joseph. So, I ran over to my local Goodwill bookstore and grabbed some cheapo art books to look for some pics to cut out. I got 5 books for all of $12. Only three were art books. Got a music theory book and a nice copy of a 1957 printing of Gone with the Wind.
I found a cute picture of a Renoir painting to put in the smaller frame. I didn't really find a picture that I liked for the larger frame, so I decided to put a piece of sheet music to show as a display. I went through my piano books and found a piece that had a bird theme, that went with my room. I know, I know! I'm crazy like that! The music wasn't quite the same size as the frame, so I took some scrapbooking paper and made a mat, so that it would fit. Even thought the sheetmusic came out of one of my mother's piano books, it didn't have that vintage-y, oldie look, so I aged it with tea. Here's what I did for the project.
First, I soaked the page in tea for a few minutes. Then, I set it on a wire rack to dry. Hit it with a hairdryer to speed up the process. Last, I cut my mat to fit the frame and then measured to frame the sheetmusic. Here is the final project!
