**If you saw an earlier version of this post, this picture wasn't included**
Mimi came through today and dressed up the puppies, so now they are included in this post. Thanks Mimi!! Getting those dogs dressed looks exhausting :-) Man, I have some cute pups. {Barrett's not so bad himself}
The dogs look so enthused, don't they? Looking at these, I feel really bad that my babies are left out. Hopefully next year I will get it together. The dogs may not like dressing up, but here is a young man (and his cousin) that do.
How do you like that last photo of Barrett in his Spiderman outfit and his fake glasses/nose? He is insane in the membrane. Mom sent me that picture this morning. Guess he had to dress up. The pictures of Barrett and his cousin, Rendi are from Friday when they went to the Carnival at Altha School. Oh to be a kid again and dress up! I call Halloween for adults "national dress like a slut day." Pardon my language. But it's the truth. Go look at any costumes for women and its totally ridiculous. Maybe I'm just a prude...
And just for fun, here is this picture of me with my brother and mother from waaaay back in the day {again}
Yeah, I looked really happy. I was a rabbit that year. My best friend, Marianne got to be Rainbow Brite and I was super jealous of her costume. I still made a cute bunny, though. Plus I got to eat carrots all night long and continuously say "what's up doc." I was a special child.
I've been meaning to post these next few pictures for a while, but never did because I was going to compile a few more pictures to go with them. It just never happened, so I will just post what I have. They are just a few random Halloween things that I saw at Hobby Lobby that would be fun to use at a Halloween party.
I thought these cookie pans would make some really cute cookies to set out on a platter. It would be easier than having to roll out dough and use cookie cutters. Then they had a lot of cute things to make a cupcake display.
I really liked the little spider cupcake holders. I could see these as little individual place card settings for each child.
That's all the pictures I got the other day. They are kinda lame, but I promise I did have an idea to do a whole Halloween decorating post. I had good intentions. Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween and eats lots of good candy that's bad for you. Enjoy seeing the little ones dressed up. Today to celebrate the season, I think I will head by Starbucks and get a Salted Caramel Latte. Yum. That will be my treat today :-) Hopefully, there will be no tricks coming my way. Ha!! Happy Halloween, everyone!
