Welcoming Caden

Recently I got to celebrate one of my favorite people on the planet. My best friend, Catrina will be welcoming her second child, little boy Caden any day now. I can't believe that the time is almost here! It has gone by so very quickly. When Catrina was pregnant with Kenley, we were still working together, so I got to harass her constantly over her morning sickness. I'm sure she was relieved that I wasn't there every day this time around to gag in her office to make her gag. I know its mean, but it comes from a place of love!

Her baby shower was a complete surprise to her. She thought she was coming to a birthday party for another friend. Little did she know that the celebration was for her!

Here she is walking in the door. Her sisters told her to wear a sundress and that was what she was saying walking in. That she was glad they told her to look nice and not wear shorts and a tank top like she was originally planning! Catrina's sisters went all out with tons and tons of food and had the room all decorated in browns and blues, just like Caden's nursery.

Catrina is so freaking adorable pregnant. If she didn't have a little round basketball, you wouldn't even be able to tell she is pregnant. I doubt I will be that lucky! I am so happy for Catrina, Tony, and Kenley and can't wait until I get to meet Mr. Caden. Luckily, she is having the baby here in Tallahassee, so I will get to go see him fresh out of the oven. I am super excited. Little ones are such a blessing and I hope one day that I will be blessed with as many as the good Lord will give me. Until that day comes, I can rejoice and enjoy the family that He has granted me. My nieces and nephews and children that might as well be related to me, like Catrina's! I love you, Catrice!
