Weekend with the Fam

I had a very nice weekend spending time with my family. My husband is in the Marine Reserves, so while he was at drills for the weekend, I went and stayed with my parents. Nothing of note happened, although I was greatly disappointed when my mother would not relinquish her bedspread to me that I wanted. Although Joseph was not disappointed with this fact. I don't think he was really feeling having a bedroom that was green and pink! So I guess that I am now on a search for a new bedspread!

I did have to opportunity to do a little bit of shopping at lunch. I found a few great deals at Ross while I was waiting to meet my friend for lunch. I just got a few odds and ends to put above my kitchen cabinets. I will post pictures if I get around to doing that today. I will leave you with one picture from my weekend. My little nephew, Barrett has discovered that he loves to play the drums. One can only imagine how loud it is to hear a 1.5 year-old bang on some old pots and pans. No wonder my brother wouldn't let me buy him a kiddie drum set this weekend!
