Why Do I Do This to Myself?

Another day, another project. So if anybody is wondering why I haven't put a post up in a few days is because I have been trying to kill myself with my new project. Like I mentioned before, I am in the process of redecorating the office/guest room/Stacey's room. (My cousin, who is usually our only guest we ever have!) Let's take a little looksy at the current situation now. Be prepared...what you are about to see will damage your corneas because it is so ugly.

This room started out solely as Joseph's office, so there is a lot of Georgia stuff hanging on the wall. So I tried to accommodate and do a red and black theme. I think I have hated it since day one, but I have lived with it because I love my hubby and he loves his UGA. Well...I finally got the go ahead from the hubs to go ahead and redo the room, sans UGA. Hurray! So the other day when I was browsing through Target, I saw a bedspread and got it. Here is a picture.

Please note the bird pillow, this is solely for Stacey because she is a HUGE fan of birds, so hopefully she won't mind sleeping next to one. Back to the subject. I wanted something simple and cottage-y/shabby chic kinda thing. So that's what I've got going on, plus I was wanting to paint the bathroom green anyways. So that will bring me to my next subject...the bathroom. ARGH!
