It's the End of the World...

...and the only thing that has survived are clothes from my closet! The move to the new house is still in progress. We are very fortunate to be able to move a little along the way this week until the big move this weekend with all the remaining furniture. Stacey and I have moved just about everything we can from the apartment that we can't live without. So yesterday, I decided to go ahead and move the clothes in my closet to the new place. I figure that I'm over there every night anyways, so I can bring home an outfit for work the next day for two nights, easy.
I loaded up my trunk with all that it could hold . This was load one of three...(I really need to get rid of a bunch of clothes!)

This picture is actually much better than what the room started off as. Imagine a huge piled up mess of clothes that I had just thrown on the floor while unloading the car. Ha! I tried to organize the clothes the best I could. I am having to use the closet in my room and the closet in the guest room. It's not ideal, but it will work.

I put all of the long sleeved clothes in one closet, along with all my sweatshirts, work pants, dresses, etc. and in the closet in my room, I put all my short sleeved clothes. (all color coordinated, thanks to my OCD cousin, Stacey).

I found the cutest baskets at Hobby Lobby yesterday that were the perfect fit for my closet. They aren't something I would normally buy to put out, but I thought they were fun and cute enough to function as laundry hampers hidden in the closet.
Now I can organize my dirty clothes. One hamper for lights and one for darks. They were a perfect fit in the closet. I couldn't have picked out something more perfect dimension wise if I had tried!

Luckily by the end of the evening, I had my room looking a little bit better than it started out.

And if you are wondering, the green Frog tape on the floor marks out the bed placement. We were trying to figure out how to lay the room out.
Hopefully, we can have most stuff organized so on Saturday, all we have to do is unload furniture, make beds, decorate, and we will be done! I guess tonight, I will lug all my shoes over. Oh the joy!
